This is one of my favorite shows this year. The actress is so good and the subject is so interesting, not to mention the message of the series. I loved it!

Mi-a plăcut foarte mult serialul , a fost unul dintre serialele pe care le-am vizionat cu drag și am simțit ca trebuie sa ma uit mereu , mi-a atras atenția . Serialul ne învață pe toți ceva bun , sa ne asumam , sa avem putere sa trecem peste toate greutățile . Merita vizionat !
This mini-series is extremely captivating. I appreciated the courage of Esty who decided that she is in control of her own decisions and showed that being a woman does not just mean having children and conforming to the patterns imposed by a society in which you do not want to live. Some parts of this mini-series remain imprinted in your mind even after its completion. If you look closely, it can make you aware of the extremely interesting things that were happening at that time and in that Jewish community. I really appreciated the way the actors play. Unorthodox is a series that impressed me because of the courage of the main character, Esty, a young Hasidic Jewish woman who flees from her life in Brooklyn, her community, and her arranged marriage to start anew in Berlin. When she explained to her new friends in Berlin why she fled, Esty says: “God expected too much of me. Now I need to find my own path.”, and her reply made me understand how motivated and determined she is to follow her own thoughts, being supported by her mother, who had the same fate. Unorthodox has definetly become one of my favourite series. The story of a girl who succeeds to defeat the prejudices and follow her dream. The thing that impressed me the most was Esty's courage and perseverance. I don't know how many girls could do what she did. I think this story teaches us to be like butterflies:not to stay in our cocoon, but to spread our wings and fly. Because at some point we will have to listen our inner voice, if we want to be happy.:)

I really liked this series. Esty's life story begins with the courage she had. .She chose to leave the community where she did not feel Integrated to follow her dream, in a totally unknown place. This made me think that there are many girls in this world as in her case. It is an interesting series that is worth seeing !
